Nottingham Interfaith Council arranged a Round Table for Faith Leaders on 10th November 2025. The purpose was to celebrate Inter Faith Week together and to share in a conversation about the challenges our faith communities are facing (including antisemitism, islamophobia, the exploitation of Christian symbolism by for political purposes), and about how we can work together to deal with these challenges.

It was good that so many faith communities were represented and we are grateful to all those who attended and contributed to engaging and interesting discussion.
Initial thoughts arising from conversations include:
- the importance of face-to-face meetings to build trust
- the value of getting people together around a common purpose or goal
- opportunities for faith leaders to meet socially & informally
- volunteering across/between faith communities
- shared training, resources, awareness raising in areas of common concern
